Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview
Texas Microelectronics Corporation is expanding and seeking a full-time, experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation hybrid electronic systems. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in materials, design, and manufacturing of advanced electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of analog, digital, and power electronic circuits.
• Interact with customers to understand product requirements.
• Oversee the design and integration of hybrid microelectronic assemblies.
• Assists Production Testing and supports Failure Analysis activities.
• Select and evaluate electronic materials for high-reliability and harsh-environment applications.
• Design and optimize motor control and power electronics systems.
• Develop microcontroller-based solutions and embedded programming for system control.
• Utilize 3D printing and rapid prototyping to support product development.
• Guide PCB and hybrid layout design, ensuring signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, mechanical, and process engineering.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and documentation of design best practices.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design, hybrid electronics, and manufacturing.
• Expertise in power electronics, control systems, and embedded programming (C/C++ or similar).
• Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong knowledge of electronic materials, packaging, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing or additive manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
