Mid-level Laravel Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Laravel Developer with strong proficiency in PHP and modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React.js. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling full-stack projects — from planning and development to deployment. The role also involves regular client communication, project ownership, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel (PHP).
• Build dynamic and interactive frontends using Vue.js or React.js.
• Design and optimize MySQL or PostgreSQL database structures and queries.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services (e.g., Stripe, AWS, Firebase).
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Work closely with clients to gather requirements, give demos, and ensure satisfaction.
• Lead development sprints, manage deadlines, and maintain high-quality codebases.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and guide junior team members.
• Stay up to date with best practices and emerging technologies in web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on Laravel (PHP).
• Proficiency in Vue.js or React.js with deep understanding of component-based architecture and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of MVC, OOP, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with MySQL, Eloquent ORM, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Blade templating, Laravel Mix, and Webpack/Vite.
• Familiarity with Git, CLI, and deployment workflows (e.g., Forge, Envoyer, Docker).
• Ability to manage full project lifecycle — planning, development, QA, deployment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to take full ownership of tasks and deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Livewire, Inertia.js, or SSR.
• Familiarity with Redis, Queues, WebSockets, or Broadcasting in Laravel.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and server-side deployments (Nginx, Apache).
• Exposure to testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest.
• UI/UX sensibility and experience working with Figma or Adobe XD.
