Mid Level MERN Stack Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and must be capable of handling projects independently from conception to deployment. This is a leadership-oriented role requiring technical excellence, project ownership, mentorship capabilities, and excellent client-facing communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of web applications using the MERN stack.
• Translate client requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Build robust, reusable, and clean code while maintaining high performance and responsiveness.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, cloud storage).
• Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met with high-quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand project goals, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Guide and mentor junior developers by conducting code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in full-stack development.
• Take ownership and responsibility for project deliverables, team support, and technical growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of professional experience in full-stack web development using the MERN stack.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), RESTful APIs, and modern front-end tools.
• Expertise in React.js including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and component-based architecture.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js in building scalable backend services.
• Proficiency in MongoDB including schema design, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Experience with deployment tools (e.g., Docker, PM2, Nginx) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Heroku, Vercel).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha), and Agile workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a mindset for continuous learning and improvement.
• Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and take accountability for success.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Next.js or other React frameworks.
• Experience in DevOps or basic server administration.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets.
