We are looking for a Network Engineer with strong foundational networking knowledge (CCNA level) and hands-on experience in building and testing network labs.
The ideal candidate should have experience in configuring and troubleshooting various network technologies, moderate Linux administration skills, and a solid understanding of VPN/IPSec.
Familiarity with scripting and cellular modem configurations will be an added advantage.
This role also involves direct customer engagement, including solution implementation, design discussions, documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-deployment support.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical (Must Have)
- Design, configure, and maintain lab environments for testing different network scenarios (VLANs, trunking, firewalling, VRRP, port channels, DHCP, static & dynamic routing, QoS/traffic shaping, and dynamic DNS).
- Implement and troubleshoot VPN technologies such as IPSec, DMVPN, site-to-site, and remote access VPNs.
- Configure and manage SD-WAN solutions — including policies, routing, and performance monitoring.
- Perform networking-related tasks on Linux systems, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Use tools like tcpdump, SSH, Telnet, and traceroute for diagnostics and network analysis.
- Support testing and validation of network products and solutions before deployment.
- Create and maintain network documentation (topologies, configurations, and test cases).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product testing and performance validation.
Customer-Facing Implementation
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and propose suitable network designs.
- Create and present design diagrams and deployment plans showing product integration at customer sites.
- Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions for customer teams post-deployment.
- Provide technical support after implementation to ensure smooth operations.

- Knowledge of cellular networking, modems, and AT commands.
- Familiarity with Network Monitoring & Management Systems (NMS) such as SolarWinds, ManageEngine, PRTG, and Syslog servers.
- Exposure to advanced firewalling, load balancing, or multi-vendor WAN optimization.
Skillset Requirements
- CCNA/CCNP-level understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Intermediate Linux administration knowledge (tools, services, troubleshooting).
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, firewall basics, and DMVPN.
- Experience in setting up and managing network labs for feature testing.
- Strong understanding of VPNs (IPSec, DMVPN) and secure connectivity.
- Professional interaction with customers, including design documentation and on-site implementations.
