As part of Alvest Group digital and data transformation, we are launching a new enterprise data platform based on Snowflake to support manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and after-sales activities across our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) business.
We are seeking a Mid to Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate this platform. This is a technical engineering role, focused on data architecture, pipelines, and platform reliability (Please not that it is not a data analyst or reporting position).
Your essential duties and responsibilities will be :
- Design and implement a scalable, secure enterprise data platform on Snowflake.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines from industrial and enterprise systems (ERP, Intranet databases, supply chain, IoT).
- Develop data transformations and analytics-ready data models.
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, security, and cost control.
- Implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business teams.
- Contribute to data governance, documentation, and standards.

Profil recherché
What we are looking for :
With a Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data, or Software Engineering (minimum requirement), you have at least a 5 years of sucessful experience as a Data Engineer ideally in an industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (architecture, performance, security).
- Advanced SQL.
- Data orchestration tools (Airflow or equivalent).
- ELT / transformation tools (dbt preferred).
- CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code.
Known for your problem-solving mindset, you demonstrate a strong sense of organization, autonomy and strong commitment to quality.
Comfortable working in complex and cross-functional enterprise environments, you are fluent in English (essential for this position).
This role could evolve into a Senior or Lead Data Engineer roles with significant ownership of a strategic enterprise data platform.
