Mid-Weight Interior Designer – SketchUp

We are seeking a mid-level Interior Designer to join our Dubai studio and contribute to the design of thoughtful, well-crafted interiors across cultural, hospitality, workplace, healthcare, and mixed-use projects.

This role is suited to a designer with strong spatial thinking, concept development, and SketchUp modelling skills, who enjoys working within an architectural environment where ideas are tested rigorously and carried through with clarity and intent. You will support projects from early concept through coordinated design stages, working closely with senior designers, technical teams, and visualisers.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to concept design through spatial studies, narratives, palettes, and layouts
• Develop clear SketchUp models to test scale, proportion, circulation, and materiality
• Prepare mood boards, precedent studies, and design presentations
• Produce concept renders using Enscape
• Assist in translating approved concepts into coordinated drawing packages
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and internal teams throughout design stages
• Support multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining design consistency and quality

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• 3–6 years’ professional experience in a design-led studio
• A portfolio demonstrating strong spatial logic, material sensitivity, and concept clarity
• Advanced SketchUp capability as a primary design development tool
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (coordination and documentation support level)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working in Dubai or the wider GCC is beneficial
• Awareness of local authority and compliance requirements is an advantage
