Are you a passionate and strategically-minded graphic designer who sees beyond pixels and palettes? Do you believe that exceptional design is a powerful tool for business growth? Are you searching for a remote role where you can produce the best work of your career, surrounded by a team that values creativity, collaboration, and tangible results?
If you're nodding along, Plutove has an opportunity for you. We are a growth-focused design and marketing agency looking for a confident and immensely talented Mid-Weight to Senior Graphic Designer to become an integral part of our fully remote team. This is not just a production role; it's a chance to be a creative leader, a brand guardian, and a visual storyteller for a portfolio of ambitious and innovative clients.
About Our Agency: Plutove (plutove.com)
Plutove is more than just a design and marketing agency; we are strategic growth partners for businesses poised to make a significant impact. We operate at the intersection of creativity and commercial results, building unforgettable brands and executing marketing campaigns that drive measurable success. Our clients range from ambitious tech start-ups and SaaS companies to forward-thinking e-commerce brands and professional services firms.
Our philosophy is built on the belief that intentional design is foundational to business success. We don't create visuals for the sake of aesthetics alone; every colour chosen, every font paired, and every layout constructed is part of a larger strategy designed to communicate, persuade, and convert. We are a close-knit, fully remote team of strategists, creatives, and project managers who are deeply passionate about our craft and dedicated to our clients' success.
The Opportunity: Your Mission at Plutove
As our new Graphic Designer, you will be the creative engine driving the visual identity and marketing collateral for our diverse clients. Your mission will be to translate complex brand strategies, marketing objectives, and raw concepts into compelling, sophisticated, and effective visual solutions. You will have the autonomy to manage projects from initial brief to final delivery, ensuring that every piece of work that leaves the agency is of the highest standard and perfectly aligned with the client's brand and goals. You will be a vital voice in our creative process, contributing ideas that shape campaigns and build lasting brand equity.
A Detailed Look at Your Responsibilities
1. Creative Strategy & Conceptualisation:
- Dive deep into client briefs, brand guidelines, and target audience personas to fully understand the strategic objectives behind each project.
- Participate actively in virtual brainstorming sessions with strategists and copywriters to develop powerful creative concepts for campaigns, brand identities, and key marketing initiatives.
- Develop mood boards, style scapes, and initial design mockups to effectively communicate your creative vision to internal teams and clients.
2. Design Execution & Production:
- Design a wide and varied range of high-quality digital and print assets. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Digital: Social media campaigns (static, carousel, and light animation), web banners, Google Display Network ads, email newsletter templates, and landing page visuals.
- Branding: Logo refinements, brand identity guidelines, typography systems, and colour palettes.
- Content Marketing: E-books, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, and presentation decks (Google Slides/PowerPoint).
- Print: Brochures, flyers, event materials, and business stationery.
- Ensure all designs are pixel-perfect, technically sound, and correctly prepared for their intended platform, whether digital or print.
3. Brand Guardianship:
- Act as a steadfast guardian for our clients' brands, meticulously ensuring that all visual output is consistent with their established guidelines across every touchpoint.
- Confidently evolve and expand brand identities where necessary, creating new assets and sub-systems that feel like a natural and strategic extension of the core brand.
4. Collaboration & Communication:
- Communicate proactively and with clarity within our project management systems (e.g., Asana/Trello) and on our internal messaging platform (Slack).
- Articulately present your design concepts and rationale to team members and, when required, directly to clients, explaining how your creative choices solve the strategic problem.
- Skillfully interpret and integrate feedback, viewing the revision process as a collaborative effort to achieve the best possible outcome.
A Glimpse into Your Week
Your week might kick off with a virtual team huddle to discuss priorities and ongoing projects. Monday and Tuesday could be focused on developing initial concepts for a new client's social media campaign. By Wednesday, you might be presenting these concepts to the Project Manager, incorporating feedback, and moving towards final revisions. Thursday could see you finalising a multi-page PDF e-book for another client while also creating a set of urgent web banners. Friday might involve tidying up your project files, participating in an internal creative review, and dedicating some time to researching new design trends to share with the team.
