Join Our Team as a Middle School ELA Co-Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Co-Teacher to join our collaborative learning community. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to create an engaging and supportive classroom where students think critically, communicate effectively, and develop a lifelong love of reading and writing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and deliver lessons aligned with middle school English standards.
• Provide individualized and small-group support to help students strengthen reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom culture that values student voice and collaboration.
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues to support each student’s progress.
• Assist with assessment, grading, and feedback to guide student learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (teaching certification preferred).
• Experience working with middle school students in a classroom or educational setting.
• Strong commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and student-centered teaching.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
