Position Summary
The Middle School Hindi Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Hindi language instruction to students of Grades 6–8, fostering strong linguistic skills, cultural understanding, and academic excellence. The teacher ensures a positive learning environment aligned with CBSE standards and the school’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Delivery
- Plan and deliver well-structured Hindi lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and digital/interactive materials.
- Ensure coverage of syllabus within timelines and maintain lesson progression.
- Integrate reading, writing, speaking, and grammar skills effectively.
- Provide enrichment activities to support language development.
2. Student Assessment & Performance
- Conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ academic progress.
- Provide feedback to students and parents regarding performance and improvement areas.
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, and evaluation rubrics.
3. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and promote a positive, inclusive, safe learning environment.
- Manage diverse learning needs and adopt differentiated instruction strategies.
- Ensure students’ active participation in class activities.
4. Co-Curricular & Enrichment Activities
- Organize and support Hindi-related competitions such as debates, elocution, poetry recitation, and story writing.
- Celebrate Hindi Diwas and other language-focused events.
- Guide students in project work, exhibitions, and cultural presentations.
5. Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and academic workshops.
- Collaborate with peers, coordinators, and academic heads for curriculum planning.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation such as lesson plans, registers, and assessment records.
- Maintain professional ethics and adhere to school policies.
6. Parent Interaction
- Participate in PTMs and communicate effectively with parents regarding student development.
- Address academic concerns and work collaboratively for student improvement.
7. Student Welfare & Values
- Encourage values of discipline, respect, empathy, and teamwork.
- Provide academic guidance and act as a mentor when needed.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi / Hindi Literature.
- B.Ed. is mandatory as per CBSE norms.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and basic proficiency in English.
- Ability to use basic digital tools for teaching and assessment.
