Middle school History Teacher

Candidates must be based in or around HSR Layout, Bangalore for ease of commute and active participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Encourage critical thinking and historical inquiry through interactive teaching methods.
• Design assessments and evaluate student performance regularly.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other subject teachers and academic coordinators.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History or related field.
• B.Ed. (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2+ years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and ability to connect with adolescents.
• Must reside in or near HSR Layout, Bangalore.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,308.62 - ₹50,000.00 per month
