Middle School Language Arts Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Language Arts Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a love for reading and writing among students while developing their critical thinking and communication skills. This role requires creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to student success in a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in language arts.
• Teach creative writing, journalism, and literacy education to enhance students' writing skills.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Incorporate instructional design principles and learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement.
• Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages student participation and self-expression.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field; teaching certification required.
• Experience in creative writing, journalism, or literacy education is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and differentiated learning.
• Strong skills in instructional design and the use of learning technology in the classroom.
• Previous experience in private school settings is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement as an educator.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $30,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
