Middle School - Social Studies

Curriculum Delivery: Teach social studies to middle school students in alignment with American curriculum guidelines.
Lesson Planning: Design and implement creative, student-centered lesson plans that incorporate critical thinking, real-world applications, and experiential learning.
Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry-based learning.
Assessment & Evaluation: Develop and conduct formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Integration of Technology: Use digital tools, multimedia, and interactive resources to enhance learning experiences.
Interdisciplinary Approach: Collaborate with other subject teachers to create interdisciplinary projects and activities.
Student Engagement: Encourage students to explore historical events, political systems, cultural diversity, and economic trends through discussions, debates, and projects.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest teaching strategies, curriculum changes, and educational best practices.
Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and academic achievements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in middle school
Strong knowledge of social studies concepts and pedagogical techniques.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to incorporate interactive and inquiry-based teaching methods.
Proficiency in using educational technology tools and digital learning platforms.
Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.

Experience teaching in an international school or multicultural environment.
Familiarity with interdisciplinary teaching methods.
