Middle School Teacher

We are hiring motivated and dynamic Middle School Teachers for grades 6–8. Teachers will lead instruction in one or more core content areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies), following a rotating subject schedule. community-building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach content subjects daily in a departmentalized format.
• Use provided curriculum and pacing to guide instruction.
• Create engaging lesson plans that align with Florida B.E.S.T. standards.
• Monitor and document academic progress and behavior.
• Communicate regularly with students and families.
• Maintain an orderly, respectful, and safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and school-wide goals.
• Participate in PD sessions, school events, and academic reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education or a relevant subject area
• Teaching experience in middle grades (preferred)
• Strong content knowledge in assigned subject(s)
• Effective classroom management skills
• Familiarity with middle school student development
• Ability to adapt and innovate within a small school setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
