PTAA K-9th STEAM Charter Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated Middle School Teachers to inspire and educate students during this pivotal stage of their academic journey. In this role, you will foster a positive learning environment, develop engaging curricula, and support students’ intellectual and personal growth. Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for teaching assigments for Math, Science and Social Studies.
• Utilize innovative learning technologies and teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding, including the roll out of our Alpha AI 1 Tutorial Platform.
• Data Driven Assessing student progress through formative and summative evaluations, BOY/MOY/EOY and progress monitoring.
• Provide individualized support through tutoring, mentoring, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and productive environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, extracurricular activities, and school events such as sports coaching or library services
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior management strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; advanced certifications are preferred
• Proven classroom experience working with middle school students in various educational settings such as Charter or private schools.
• Strong knowledge of chosen core subject including Math (Algebra, Geometry), Literacy Education, Creative Writing, and Science.
• Familiarity with curriculum development tools and learning technology platforms
• Excellent communication skills for public speaking, academic advising, and collaborating with colleagues and families
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
