ICBC Turkey Bank is searching a highly skilled Senior Middleware Administrator to be recruited in Technology Center under our Head Office building located in Maslak, Istanbul. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of middleware technologies, including Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ, Tomcat, etc... You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our middleware infrastructure, which supports business-critical applications.

Your responsibilities will include implementing best practices in capacity planning, incident management, and architectural improvements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex middleware issues, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring compliance with security and operational standards to enhance system reliability and efficiency.


This position will be

Installation, configuration, management and capacity planning of middleware products

Installation and management of APM tools to ensure effective monitoring of middleware products and services

Providing effective solutions to complex problems related to middleware products and services

Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to enhance middleware operations, increase efficiency, and minimize manual tasks

Performing root cause analysis of problems

Compliance with security regulations

Providing after-hours support for emergencies and planned maintenance activities

Conduct requirements analysis, prepare technical specifications, and perform POC and tests for new technologies

Maintain inventory and asset configuration

Document processes, procedures, and operational activities

Manage the maintenance and support processes

Manage incident and problem management processes


How do we describe the perfect match?

Experience in administration of application servers (e.g., Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat)

Knowledge of message-oriented middleware systems (e.g.IBM MQ)

Ability to write automation tools using Ansible, Shell scripting or Python

Experience with modern monitoring tools and log analytics solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Instana, )

Experience in capacity planning, troubleshooting, SLA/OLA management and the other operational activities

Basic database and network knowledge

Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently

Strong analytical thinking and decision making skills

Strong communication and documentation skills

Open to continuous learning and development

Good command of the English language

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree at related engineering fields
