Midwife – Nauru Deployment

Location: Republic of Nauru

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Midwife to join its maternal and child health team. This is a vital role supporting safe births, antenatal education, and postpartum care in a resource-limited but rewarding setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive antenatal, labor, delivery, and postnatal care
• Support safe, natural births and emergency obstetric care
• Educate mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and family planning
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and community health workers
• Ensure documentation and infection control standards are maintained
• Participate in outreach and community-based maternal care programs

Qualifications:

• Certified or Registered Midwife (with valid license/registration)
• Minimum 2 years of independent midwifery practice
• Skilled in managing normal deliveries and basic obstetric emergencies
• Cultural sensitivity and strong communication skills
• Experience in rural or low-resource settings preferred

Contract & Benefits:
