MIG Welder

Job Description:
We are currently hiring a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate must be available in Qatar with a valid QID and a transferable NOC. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding tasks on a variety of metal components, ensuring precision, strength, and adherence to safety standards. Overtime is applicable based on workload and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals according to technical drawings and welding procedures.
• Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding equipment, ensuring proper voltage, wire feed, and gas flow settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols accurately.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Follow all workplace safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work in coordination with fabrication and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Carry out welding operations in various positions as required (horizontal, vertical, overhead).
• Overtime available as per project demands.

Requirements:

• Must be immediately available in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable NOC (mandatory).
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a MIG welder.
• Solid understanding of MIG welding techniques, materials, and best practices.
• Experience working with fabrication shops or industrial projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Trade certification or diploma in welding or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Pay: QAR1,600.00 per month
