MIG Welder

Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding codes to determine the specifications for the project
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using the appropriate welding techniques
- Assemble and build metal structures by cutting, fitting, and welding metal components together
- Use hand tools and power tools to grind, buff, and smooth welded surfaces
- Inspect welded joints for quality and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Preferred 2 years of experience as a MIG welder or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery as needed
- Experience with rigging and machining is a plus

This is a full-time position M-F
