Tully Rinckey PLLC, a nationally recognized full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced
Senior Associate or Partner-level Attorney to join our
Military and Security Clearance Law Practice. The ideal candidate will be a
former Judge Advocate General (JAG) with a strong background representing military personnel and federal employees across a wide range of legal matters.
Responsibilities:- Represent clients in courts-martial, administrative boards, discharge upgrades, and other military tribunals.
- Advise military personnel on legal rights, obligations, and service-related issues.
- Handle military appeals and petitions for relief, including discharge upgrades and record corrections.
- Represent clients in veterans’ benefits cases, including appeals before the VA.
- Provide counsel and representation in Security Clearance matters, including SF86/SF85 preparation and review, responses to Statements of Reasons, adjudications, hearings, and appeals before DOHA and other intelligence agencies.
- Conduct thorough legal research and remain current on developments in military and administrative law.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff across practice areas to ensure exceptional client service.
- Educate and counsel clients on preventative measures to avoid legal issues connected to military service.
Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Former JAG experience is required.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in military, security clearance, or related administrative law.
- Strong litigation and advocacy skills, with demonstrated success in hearings, appeals, and tribunals.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive salary: $125,000 – $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
