The primary and essential functions of the Mill Service Technician include scheduled and unscheduled field service visits to various customer mill locations to provide a variety of field services such as installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of REPCO feeder system equipment. The Mill Service Technician provides exceptional customer service and supports overall maintenance/installation operations to uphold the quality standards of REPCO products. This position requires approximately 50% travel.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Installation, Maintenance, and Repair of mechanical and technical systems.
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and problem-solving for equipment and machinery.
- Experience in Field Service, including on-site technical support and servicing equipment.
- Excellent Customer Service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and communication.
- Relevant vocational training, certifications, or professional experience in industrial maintenance is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and CAD software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of hand tools, electronic, electrical, and mechanical industrial equipment.
- Programmable logic control (PLC) writing and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Understanding process controls such as pressure, flow, levels, and speed.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and successfully pass forklift certification training.
Other Requirements
- Must have excellent professionalism when communicating with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Must pass respirator physical and be fit tested for a respirator.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
- Approximately 50% travel.
