Millwright Fitter

Installation & Alignment:

• Install and align rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, conveyors, and fans.
• Perform precision alignment using dial indicators, laser alignment tools, and other measuring instruments.
• Fit and assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.

Maintenance & Repair:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Inspect and diagnose faults or abnormalities such as vibration, noise, or leaks.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as bearings, seals, shafts, couplings, and gaskets.
• Conduct overhauling and servicing of rotating and static equipment.

Fabrication & Modification:

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Perform mechanical fitting, grinding, drilling, and minor fabrication tasks as required.
• Ensure proper fit-up and tolerances during assembly and installation.

Pay: QAR1,600.00 - QAR1,900.00 per month
