Minecraft Developer (Java)

We’re seeking a Minecraft Developer experienced with Java to join one of our client teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work on custom Minecraft experiences, from gameplay mechanics and world generation to server optimization and plugin development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom Minecraft plugins using Java (Spigot, Paper, or Bukkit).
• Build and extend game logic, world systems, and multiplayer features.
• Integrate APIs and databases to support gameplay and user data.
• Optimize server performance for large-scale player environments.
• Collaborate with game designers and other developers to implement new features.
• Test, debug, and deploy updates to live servers.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java
• Experience with Minecraft server frameworks (Spigot, Paper, or Bukkit)
• Knowledge of MySQL / SQLite / MongoDB
• Familiarity with Git / GitHub for version control
• Understanding of Linux / VPS server management

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Fabric or Forge modding
• Familiarity with Python for scripting or automation
• Interest in game design and balancing gameplay mechanics
