To develop, maintain, and deliver accurate MIS reports, dashboards, and data analysis using Power BI and Advanced Excel. The role supports management decision-making by ensuring visibility of key operational and financial metrics across shipping and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI for real-time visibility of shipping and logistics operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports using Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.).
• Consolidate and analyze large sets of data related to freight, vessel schedules, shipments, warehouse inventory, and logistics performance.
• Provide insights on KPIs such as turnaround time, transit delays, freight cost optimization, container utilization, and customer service levels.
• Automate repetitive reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and sales teams to gather reporting requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Monitor exceptions, identify performance gaps, and suggest data-driven improvements.
• Support management with ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and decision support tools.
• Maintain documentation of reporting processes and ensure compliance with company standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX functions, Power Query, dashboard creation, data modeling).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (macros, pivot tables, Power Pivot, VBA preferred).
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Experience in handling large datasets from ERP/TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, CargoWise, etc. preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Logistics, Statistics, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in MIS Reporting / Data Analysis, preferably in the shipping & logistics industry.
• Prior exposure to freight forwarding, shipping lines, or logistics operations will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
