MIXER DRIVER

Job Purpose

To safely operate ready-mix concrete mixer trucks for the timely delivery of concrete to customer sites while maintaining quality, safety, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate concrete mixer trucks safely to deliver concrete to project sites
• Ensure correct concrete quantity, quality, and timely delivery as per dispatch instructions
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (engine, brakes, lights, tyres, drum, hydraulics)
• Operate the mixer drum during transit and discharge to maintain concrete quality
• Coordinate with site engineers, pump operators, and supervisors during pouring
• Wash and clean the mixer truck after delivery to prevent concrete build-up
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays immediately to the supervisor
• Maintain delivery tickets, logbooks, and fuel records
• Follow traffic rules, site safety rules, and company policies

Safety Responsibilities

• Comply with UAE traffic laws and company HSE procedures
• Wear PPE at plant and construction sites
• Ensure safe positioning of the truck during loading and unloading
• Avoid overloading and unsafe driving practices

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4 or equivalent)
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as a mixer or heavy vehicle driver
• Experience in ready-mix concrete operations preferred
• Good knowledge of Dubai/UAE roads and construction sites
• Basic communication skills in English (Hindi/Arabic is an advantage)
• Physically fit and medically cleared

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions

• On-time deliveries
• Zero traffic or safety violations
• Proper vehicle handling and maintenance reporting
