What you'll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

You will be joining a dedicated beach team and will report directly to the Beach Club Management team.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bar to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
Cocktails are your passion, you will assist with creating and maintaining the beverage menus our hotel will offer, exceeding our guests' expectations every time.
You will also be in charge of training and mentoring the entire restaurant team with a focus on cocktails, ensuring their knowledge is second to none and they are able to assist our guests in the best possible way.
You are aware of the latest trends and continuously innovate to ensure our offering remains at the very top of what is being offered around the world.

You are aware of revenue targets and ensuring these are achieved and exceeded, simultaneously all costs are controlled within pre-set budgets including beverage cost and other expenses.
By taking part in a daily team briefing pre-service, you ensure you are well informed of the daily happenings around the hotel as well as the upcoming service.
During your daily routine, you liaise with other departments when required to ensure an immaculate presentation of your outlet and high standards of cleanliness as well as maintenance are upheld at all times including restaurant furniture, equipment, floors, fixtures and fittings.
In collaboration with your service team, you ensure fantastic quality of beverage preparation, presentation and beverage inventory control.
You are responsible for monitoring the stock of spirits and soft drinks and promptly communicate with the Head bartender if anything needs to be reordered.
Comply with all statutory and company health and safety, fire, bomb, and security regulations.
You track the inventory of glassware and any bar items, making sure to minimize any breakages or damages.
Ensure that all Food and Beverage Hygiene and Sanitation Standards are attained in accordance with the local municipality regulations
Along with your main duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required.
You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the beach club needs.
You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun, operating under pressure, and requires standing and walking for long periods of time.

You`ll bring your excellent understanding of service standards and ability to anticipate guest expectations.
English is the primary language used in our beach club. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Other languages including Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish or German are highly desirable.
You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in luxury hotels and high-end restaurants preferably in the Middle East.
Experience in a Worlds 50-Best cocktail bar or accolades from a recognized Cocktail Competition are highly desirable
