Mobile App Developer

We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer with strong TypeScript and DevOps experience to own the development, build, and deployment of our mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

You’ll work closely with our US-based team to enhance an existing app built with React Native (NativeScript knowledge a plus) and automate the delivery pipeline using Azure DevOps and macOS-based build agents — enabling us to publish apps without requiring in-house Apple hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance cross-platform mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript.
• Manage mobile CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps, including signing, versioning, and store distribution.
• Build and release iOS apps using macOS virtual machines (e.g., GitHub-hosted macOS runners or third-party macOS agents).
• Troubleshoot and optimize the mobile build process for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with backend developers and UI designers to ensure seamless API integration and user experiences.
• Ensure applications follow performance, security, and accessibility best practices.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience building and deploying mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript.
• Experience releasing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines for mobile app builds.
• Proficiency with Apple code signing, provisioning profiles, and TestFlight workflows.
• Experience using macOS virtual machines for iOS builds (e.g., MacStadium, GitHub-hosted macOS runners, etc.).
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and RESTful API integration.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with NativeScript.
• Exposure to enterprise cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience working in HIPAA or audit-compliant environments is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and across time zones with minimal supervision.
