Mobile Automotive Technician

Shige’s Premier Auto Service is seeking a highly responsible and experienced Mobile Service Technician to perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for fleet and retail customers.

This role requires a technician who can work independently, think critically, and adapt to real-world conditions outside of a traditional shop environment. You will be the face of our company in the field—professionalism, efficiency, and strong technical ability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Complete services such as oil changes, inspections, brakes, minor repairs, and light diagnostics
• Accurately document findings, inspections, and repair recommendations
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and management regarding job status and needs
• Maintain and organize mobile service vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Adapt to different environments and improvise solutions when needed
• Follow company processes, safety standards, and quality expectations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience (fleet or mobile experience preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable using digital inspection tools and shop management systems
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
