Mobile Crane Operator

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in the steel industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating mobile cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment safely and efficiently as per operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile cranes to move heavy steel materials, machinery, and other items as directed.
• Load and unload materials in the yard or inside the plant.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures during crane operations.
• Inspect crane equipment and perform daily maintenance checks.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure proper rigging and secure loads before lifting.
• Coordinate with ground staff and signalers to ensure safe and precise movements.
• Keep records of crane operations and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Operator, preferably in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Valid UAE Mobile Crane Operator license (RTA/DM certified or equivalent).
• Knowledge of crane safety regulations and lifting techniques.
• Ability to read and follow load charts and lifting plans.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and alert.

Preferred:

• Experience handling long or irregularly shaped steel materials.
• Familiarity with other heavy equipment operation is an advantage.
