Mobile Crane Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile cranes ranging from 13T to 130T (depending on experience) to lift, move, and position materials on-site, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in mechanical operations, materials handling, and construction environments. Applicants must possess a minimum of a class 2 HGV Driving licence and either a CPCS or NPORS Crane Operator Training card (in date).

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of cranes to ensure safety and functionality before each shift.
• Coordinate with site managers and team members to ensure that lifting operations are undertaken effectively and safely.
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• identify and rectify minor issues or report faults promptly to maintenance teams.

Skills

• Proven experience operating mobile cranes.
• Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation.
• Class 2 HGV Drivers Licence.
• Either NPORS or CPCS Crane Operator Training Competency (in-date).
• Team player who will work effectively within a small team.
• Willing and capable to carry out other tasks when in the depot.

Pay: From £19.00 per hour
