Ensure our propane and diesel forklift fleet is safe, compliant, and always ready. You’ll be the reliability champion who blends technical expertise with clear communication and meticulous documentation.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and PMs on LPG and diesel forklifts
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues
- Conduct safety-focused inspections and confirm operational readiness
- Repair/replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and related assemblies
- Keep complete, accurate maintenance and service records
- Uphold OSHA and company safety standards at every step
- Respond swiftly to breakdowns to limit downtime
- Report findings, parts needs, and recommendations to management
- Experience as a forklift or heavy equipment mechanic
- Required: hands-on work with propane and diesel forklifts
- Deep understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Competent in reading schematics and service manuals
- Valid driver’s license; forklift certification is a plus
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable in warehouse and outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and diagnostic problem-solving
- Trade or technical certification in mechanical repair
- Experience with multiple forklift manufacturers
- Welding or fabrication exposure
- Full-time; schedule may vary based on operational needs

- Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour (non-exempt)
