Mobile HGV / Van Technician and Plant Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all day-to-day operations, ensuring repairs and maintenance works are carried out to the highest standards whilst meeting legislative requirements of the operations.
• Repair and maintain all vehicles, plant and machinery as directed either on or off site.
• Assist the safe, efficient, and effective operation of all vehicles, plant and machinery.
• Undertake training to standards agreed by management.
• To comply with the company safety regulations, policies and safe working practices.
• Communicate effectively with staff/management and customers daily.

Required Skills:

• You will have previous experience working as Van / HGV mechanic and plant fitter.
• Proven working experience working with heavy plant and machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers etc.
• Welding experience
• Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Punctual, hard-working, ‘can do’ attitude.

Health & Safety

• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and report any malpractice.
• Report all accidents, incidents and near misses.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £48,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
