Position Overview

The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing high-quality specimen collection while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role is essential in supporting our pre-analytical workflow and maintaining the high standards that define Lynk Diagnostics. Candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and demonstrate strong attention to detail will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections following CLSI and California regulatory standards.

· Verify patient identity, test orders, and specimen requirements.

· Prepare, label, and process specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.

· Maintain phlebotomy supplies, workstations, and specimen transport logs.

· Follow infection control, safety, and biohazard protocols.

· Provide excellent patient service, including working with diverse and difficult-to-bleed populations.

· Support pre-analytical operations including specimen accessioning and documentation.

· Collaborate with laboratory and administrative teams to support efficient workflow and uphold Lynk Diagnostics' commitment to excellence.

Required Qualifications

· Active California Phlebotomy Technician I or II (CPT I/II) license (required).

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Completion of a California-approved phlebotomy training program.

· At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a clinical, hospital, or diagnostic laboratory setting.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Driver's license and reliable vehicle to drive between locations

Preferred Experience

· Experience in a high-throughput outpatient or diagnostic laboratory environment.

· Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

· Experience with specimen processing or handling multiple specimen types.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
