Mobile Phlebotomist

Duties

• Perform blood sampling via venipuncture in various settings, including patients’ homes and community sites
• Collect and process specimens accurately following established laboratory procedures and techniques
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and proper specimen handling to maintain sample integrity
• Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort during collection
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, including labeling specimens correctly and recording relevant patient information
• Follow all laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control measures to uphold quality standards

Skills

• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and specimen collection methods
• Proven experience in venipuncture (blood sampling), phlebotomy, and blood sample processing
• Familiarity with clinical laboratory practices and hospital or healthcare environment experience
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology
• Ability to operate medical equipment related to blood collection with precision and aseptic technique
• Demonstrated reliability in working independently in diverse settings while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
