Position Overview
The Mobile Projects Technician (Mobile Team Lead) is responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of the Mobile Team, including planning, execution, order and inventory management, and performance tracking. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong communication and organizational skills. The Mobile Team Lead ensures all mobile projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and support the Mobile Team in daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor team performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and completion of accurate daily reporting and dashboards.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members on setting priorities, managing workloads, and upholding performance expectations.
- Lead daily check-ins, performance evaluations, and facilitate effective interdepartmental communication.
- Act as an escalation point for operational challenges, blockers, or issues requiring leadership attention.
- Allocate staff resources based on workload demands and operational priorities, coordinating final schedule approval.
- Oversee all Mobile Division functions within Mobile Operations.
- Support inventory accuracy in Odoo, monitor burn rates, and maintain quality assurance (QA) standards.
- Enforce turnaround time goals (24–48 hours SLA, with a target of 24 hours).
- Identify trends, analyze performance metrics, and recommend process improvements.
Training and Safety
- Facilitate ongoing training and onboarding for new team members.
- Ensure the team adheres to all warehouse safety protocols and is certified where required
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and contributing to team performance reviews.
2. Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with Points of Contact (POCs) for each work group and station to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage the reclamation of old devices through ABM, Carrier, WorkSpace1, and other platforms, ensuring proper next steps (recycle or resale).
- Collaborate with cross-functional leads to align scheduling, staffing, and operational requirements.
3. Order & Inventory Management
- Manage incoming orders for projects and break/fix requests, ensuring timely receipt, tracking, and resolution.
- Oversee product receipt and ensure accurate logging and tracking of all assets in Odoo.
- Utilize Odoo to track product status, process inventory movements, and maintain system accuracy.
- Manage shipping logistics to ensure timely dispatch of products to designated locations.
- Ensure all devices are properly enrolled in Device Enrollment Program (DEP) profiles for their respective work groups.
- Perform carrier activations and manage associated carrier accounts for each work group.
4. Task Management & Quality Assurance
- Create and manage tasks within Cherwell, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and completion.
- Execute corresponding updates and movements in Odoo to reflect task progress and completion.
- Verify that all QA procedures are completed and documented.
- Ensure that all tasks in Cherwell are fully verified and closed out.
5. PCI Compliance & Device Lifecycle Management
- Use BlueFin to ensure PCI compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the receiving, naming, and documentation of devices to maintain full compliance and accurate lifecycle tracking.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all device activity and ensure audit readiness.
6. Inventory Systems & Reclamation Oversight
- Oversee daily performance of Odoo ERP modules, supporting procurement, logistics, and inventory workflows.
- Manage the intake, reclamation, and recycling of devices, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Coordinate device intake requests and project submissions across departments.
- Collaborate with Odoo developers on system updates and new functionality requests.
- Conduct regular system audits and facilitate cycle counts to ensure Odoo data integrity and efficiency.
7. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide weekly operational updates to management and the executive team.
- Participate in leadership and management meetings, sharing key status updates, challenges, and initiatives.
- Lead cross-training efforts with other teams to maximize efficiency, standardization, and knowledge sharing.
- Align Mobile Team outputs with broader organizational goals and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance workflow and communication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations, Mobile, or technical leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of Odoo, Cherwell, and mobile device management systems (ABM, WorkSpace1, DEP).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to maintaining compliance and quality standards (e.g., PCI, QA).
