• Develop and qualify wiping/lighting functions using Model Based Systems Engineering approach

• Define lighting functions according to customer needs and develop simulation models using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow

• Define use cases and simulate the functions model according to them for up front verification.

• Simulate the lighting function in the complete environment at vehicle level

• Realize fast prototyping applications and Demo Cars for upfront verification

• Support RFQ and establish compliance and choice matrix.

• Contribute to innovative Model Based Systems Engineering projects

• Redesign specification models in compliance with VLS standards.

• Ensure technology transfer from P3 to P2&P1 projects in compliance with System and Software Metier constraints.

• Inspires and encourages colleagues to apply intelligently customized best practices.

• Contribute to Develop, qualify and maintain VWS/ VLS standard Library

• Identify system functions diversity, dependencies and constraints in order to define reusable subsystems and blocks.

• Define specific test cases to qualify libraries behavior and improve libraries robustness.

• Support Model Based Design Implementation Engineer during standardization phase.

• Ensure the full coverage of the specific test cases to qualify libraries behavior and improve libraries robustness.

• Ensure the coverage level of the Implementation Model aligned with Model Development Methodology & Strategy

• Code Generation and Ensure Quality of Deliverables

• Support Code generation from Implementation Model using Embedded Coder.

• Ensure the Compliance with Model Advisor Rules

• Ensure Compliance of source code with Valeo Coding Rules and MISRA for auto generated Code

• Contribute to build and deploy VWS/VLS Model Based Systems Engineering Design standards

• Develop simulation methodologies and tools.

• Perform model Peer reviews across VWS/VLS projects to ensure project consistency

• Perform technical reviews on new functions.

• Perform technical reviews on innovative functions before implementation during transition phase (P3 to P1 projects).

• Education / Training

  System/Electronics/Software/MBD/MBSE Engineer

  Professional Experience
  

  System experience for a minimum of 2~3 years in SW/System domain in Automotive industry: Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or Model Based Design (MBD) approach.
  Fast prototyping systems
  Development in embedded systems
  Methodology development knowledge (V cycle)
  Knowledge of automotive communication bus (Ethernet, CAN, LIN), Diagnostic.

  Languages

  The English language is mandatory.
  

  Other Specifications

  Knowledge about the following tools is a must:

  • MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
    

  Knowledge about the following tools/Concepts is a plus:

  • Control Law Theory

  • DOORS/CodeBeamer

  • dSPACE MicroAutoBox, CATIAMagic, SCANeR,

  • Automotive communication buses: Ethernet /CAN / LIN network and associated tools (CANoe, CANdela, …)

• Ensure the coverage level of the tests: MIL on Implementation Model (Back to Back), SIL, PIL

• Support SW Integrator for the Integration phase of the functions developed in Model
