Model Risk & AI Analytics Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the company’s Model Risk Management Framework in line with CBUAE regulatory requirements and Islamic finance principles.
• Develop and maintain model inventory, risk rating, and lifecycle documentation for all AI, analytics, and risk models.
• Lead model validation, performance monitoring, and periodic reviews to ensure accuracy, reliability, and fairness.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, compliance, and product teams to embed model governance best practices.
• Prepare and present model risk reports to senior leadership, audit, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Define model risk policies, procedures, and escalation protocols.
• Champion responsible and ethical AI practices across the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or risk-related field from a reputable university.
• Demonstrated experience in model risk management, model governance, or risk analytics within regulated financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of CBUAE or similar regulatory frameworks related to model risk.
• Familiarity with AI/ML model lifecycle, validation, and monitoring processes.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical frameworks and controls.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
