Job Overview:

The Modern Workplace (M365) Adoption Lead or Change Manager is responsible for driving the adoption and transformation of M365 tools and services across the organization. The role requires a deep understanding of M365 capabilities, business and IT alignment, change management principles, and user engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of M365 tools, such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Security and Compliance. Additionally, The candidate will also have a proven track record of leading and managing complex and large-scale change initiatives, involving multiple stakeholders and business units.

Job Description:

ü Evaluate the current level of M365 usage and maturity across the organization, find gaps and opportunities, and set success metrics and KPIs.

ü Oversee the M365 applications and increase adoption.

ü Develop and deliver effective communication, training, and support for M365 users, champions, and leaders.

ü Build and manage a network of M365 champions who can support M365 adoption and best practices.

ü Work with different teams or units to provide solutions based on their needs. Define project KPIs and track them during and after the project.

ü Measure and report on the adoption and impact of M365 tools and services, using data and feedback.

ü Identify and solve risks and issues that may affect the adoption and change process and escalate as needed.

ü Work with IT, business, and project teams to align and integrate M365 adoption and change activities with other initiatives and processes.

ü Keep up with the latest trends and developments in M365 and provide insights and suggestions on how to use new features and functions.

ü Experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions.

ü Analyze user feedback and usage data to find patterns, trends, and areas for improvement in M365 application adoption and engagement.

ü Conduct regular user training sessions and workshops to promote best practices and ensure effective use of M365 tools.

ü Provide troubleshooting support for users with technical issues with M365 applications, working with IT support teams as needed.

ü Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new M365 applications or integrations to meet changing business needs.

ü Monitor licensing agreements and software subscriptions for M365 tools, optimizing usage and costs where possible.

ü Monitor and measure the adoption and impact of M365 tools and services, using data and feedback, and report on the progress and outcomes.

ü Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to M365, recommending strategies for incorporating innovations into the organization's digital workplace.

ü Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among M365 users, encouraging teamwork and information exchange through digital platforms.

ü Strong knowledge of MS 365 apps, MS Exchange, MS Teams, MS Viva, MS Intune, and MS Identity & Access Management.

ü Maintain documentation and knowledge repositories for M365 applications, ensuring resources are current and available to users.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in leading and managing M365 adoption and change projects, preferably in a large and complex organization.
  • Experience working with M365 tools and services, and their benefits and use cases for different business scenarios and user personas.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in applying change management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, or Bridges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor the message and delivery to different audiences and channels.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented, with the ability to track and report on adoption and change metrics and outcomes.
  • Creative, innovative, and agile, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and expectations.
  • Certifications in M365, change management, or project management are desirable.
