Modest Fashion Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Fashion Designer with deep expertise in Women modest wear and western wears. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional understanding of fabrics, embellishments like embroideries, printings & other fancy trims. Well know about superior technical design skills, and a proven ability to execute designs from initial concept through to final production. This is a hands-on role requiring mastery of design software and the creation of precise technical packs for factory execution.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Research current trends, consumer needs, and the competitive landscape within Women modest clothing.

2. Well aware about UAE market related to modest wear, Abayas, swimwear and daily wear.

3. Generate original, innovative, and brand-appropriate design concepts.

4. Develop detailed tech packs/blue prints including flat sketches, construction details, bill of materials (BOM), and precise spec measurements.

5. Select and source appropriate fabrics, trims and finishes that align with the design vision and cost parameters.

6. Evaluate and production samples, providing clear feedback to factory/supplier.

7. Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is mandatory for sketching and creating tech packs.

8. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Browzwear, CLO 3D) for 3D design and virtual prototyping is a significant advantage.

9 .Manage the entire design process from initial sketch to final production approval, ensuring timelines are met.

10 .Troubleshoot and solve any design, fit, or production issues that arise.

11 .Collaborate effectively with other relevant department and team members to ensure a cohesive product strategy.

12. Any task assigned by the line manager

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience in apparel design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in Women clothing.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies

· Expert-level knowledge of fabrics: must understand fabric composition, weight, stretch, grain, and how different materials perform and behave in garment construction.

· Well expert in embroidery artworks, printings, applique work.

· Extensive experience in creating comprehensive and precise tech packs/blueprints for factory use.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.

· Experience working directly with domestic and international brands.
