As a Module Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving Intel's cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will lead the development, integration, and optimization of advanced processes, tools, and device architectures essential to Intel's technology roadmap. Your contributions will significantly influence future manufacturing processes while enhancing production efficiency and product reliability. Collaborating with key equipment and material suppliers, you will drive innovation and ensure Intel remains at the forefront of the semiconductor industry. Key Responsibilities
Drive technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future technology processes.
Lead the design, development, and optimization of sophisticated manufacturing processes, including material selection, parameter fine-tuning, equipment metrology, and system design.
Perform feasibility studies and pathfinding activities to support innovative device architectures and technology roadmaps.
Recommend and implement modifications to operating equipment to enhance production efficiency and optimize manufacturing output.
Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to establish and implement enabling technologies.
Conduct process technology feasibility studies using theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods.
Stay informed on industry trends and technical advancements to align Intel's development efforts with evolving semiconductor needs.
Develop cost-sensitive roadmaps and partner with vendors to push industry boundaries while meeting Intel's technology goals.
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field of study.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with semiconductor processing, system controls, optomechanics, or mechanical systems.
Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, or process characterization.
Programming experience with tools such as Python or MATLAB.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing processes and equipment.
Experience with packaging processes, equipment automation development, and robotics.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability to manage multiple priorities.
Passion for advancing Intel's strategic goals and driving meaningful industry innovation.

Work Model for this Role
