Molecular Pathologist (MD or MBBS with MD / DNB in Pathology)

Opportunity with an Esteemed Client Company of Sanskruti Solutions. (Diagnostic Setup)

Role: Molecular Pathologist

Job Location: Powai, Mumbai

Working Pattern: Office Working, 6 Days / Week (Sunday Off)

Key Responsibilities:

· Interpret and sign out next-generation sequencing (NGS) and other molecular assay results, including somatic and germline variant analyses.

· Correlate molecular findings with clinical, histologic, and immunophenotypic data to provide integrated pathology reports.

· Participate in the validation, standardization and implementation of molecular diagnostic assays (NGS panels, MLPA, Single cell analysis).

· Ensure compliance with CAP, NABL and other regulatory requirements.

· Collaborate with oncologists, genetic counselors, laboratory scientists and bioinformaticians to support personalized treatment planning.

· Participate in tumor boards, case discussions and research collaborations as needed.

· Stay abreast of emerging molecular diagnostics technologies and clinical applications.

· Contribute to quality assurance, continuous improvement and internal training programs

Qualifications:

· MD or MBBS with MD/DNB in Pathology; Fellowship in molecular pathology/DM in Molecular Pathology preferred.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in molecular diagnostics or clinical genomics.

· Strong understanding of NGS workflows, variant interpretation (including ACMG / AMP guidelines) and reporting tools.

· Familiarity with databases such as ClinVar, COSMIC, OncoKB, gnomAD, etc.

· Experience working with LIMS, bioinformatics pipelines and lab accreditation systems is a plus.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
