Mommy’s helper

Overview
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Mommy’s Helper to support busy families in managing daily childcare and household tasks. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to assist parents in creating a nurturing environment for children of all ages, from infants to preschoolers. As a Mommy’s Helper, you will play a vital part in ensuring children’s safety, happiness, and development while maintaining an organized and clean home. Responsibilities

• Assist with childcare duties including feeding, diapering, nap times, and engaging children in age-appropriate activities
• Support preschool and toddler care routines to promote learning and social development
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up toys, laundry, and general cleaning
• Provide basic first aid when necessary and ensure children’s safety at all times
• Help with transportation to activities or appointments as needed
• Engage children with educational play, teaching basic skills, and fostering creativity

Skills

• Experience working with children across various age groups, especially infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Knowledge of child development principles and caregiving best practices
• Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently; certification preferred
• Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment for children
• Cooking skills for meal preparation suited for young children
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Reliable, patient, nurturing, and proactive in addressing children’s needs
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
