Monitoring Specialist

Job Description:


  • Responsible for remote central control duty of wind farms and 24/7 real-time monitoring of turbine operating status; keep real-time tracking of power load, grid-connected conditions and equipment abnormal alarms.
  • Continuously monitor turbine shutdown, power limitation, fault tripping, communication interruption and other abnormal signals; conduct graded reporting and issue closed-loop work orders to on-site maintenance teams in a timely manner.
  • Collect and calculate overall wind farm power generation efficiency, unit availability and downtime; prepare daily operation monitoring reports and efficiency analysis ledgers.
  • Provide remote support for on-site teams including turbine start-stop control, remote reset and debugging, and assist with routine inspection, technical renovation and unit recovery work.
  • Monitor the operating status of site security, fire protection, box transformers and other auxiliary equipment; coordinate the handling of potential hidden dangers of on-site supporting facilities.
  • Verify the completion efficiency and quality of fault work orders, complete data traceability and document filing, and support owners’ power assessment and performance review.
  • Manage central control platform on-duty shifts, handover records and night shift logs; ensure 24-hour stable and uninterrupted operation of the monitoring system.
  • Assist the project team in optimizing unit operation strategies, propose improvement suggestions for low-efficiency turbines and frequent fault points, and improve overall wind farm power generation performance.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in electrical automation, new energy, power system, electromechanical or related fields is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in wind farm remote central control, monitoring and operation management; familiar with mainstream wind turbine monitoring platforms.
  • Familiar with common wind turbine fault codes, grid connection standards and central control working procedures; able to quickly identify abnormalities and arrange on-site dispatch accurately.
  • Proficient in office software; capable of independently preparing daily/weekly reports, data statistics and power efficiency ledgers.
  • Able to work shift schedules including night shifts and rotating shifts; strong sense of responsibility, stable working attitude and quick response capability.
  • Basic knowledge of power safety management; careful and rigorous in daily work, no bad records of operational mistakes.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to efficiently cooperate with on-site teams, owner’s control center and back-office management to ensure full work closed-loop management.
  • Experience in wind power centralized control center and holding valid electrician certificates are preferred.
