MONTECITO, CA – A wonderful family in Montecito is seeking to hire a FAMILY ASSISTANT/NANNY for their busy and fully staffed household. The majority and primary role is FAMILY ASSISTANT but it also has childcare for three young kids (infant, and two older elementary kids). The schedule is FULL-TIME (8am-5pm during the summer and 12-8pm during the school year, with occasional weekends) paid via payroll, with sick/vacation time. Pay is open, depending on experience and the candidate. They have pets in the home so you need to be pet-friendly. The job starts ASAP for the right candidate.

This is a really great job for a seasoned Personal Assistant/Family Assistant who wants to upgrade their career and work for a fully staffed family that retains its employees. This position will positively challenge you daily and is essential to running the home. You can run errands, pick up groceries, work in the office, assemble and wrap presents, help other staff or assist with party planning, among other tasks. This job is very important and requires a deep sense of trust and privacy, as the family requires you to sign an NDA and use discretion. There will also be times when you'll need to fill in as the Nanny occasionally or help with the kids, so please also have experience working with children. Flexibility is key to this role, as are professionalism, punctuality, technological proficiency, adaptability to AI and texting, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly. Plus, a great personality would be a bonus!

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a similar Family Assistant, Nanny, or House Manager role

* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

* Positive attitude with a “can-do” mindset* Strong multitasking and time-management skills

* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

*Comfortable managing both childcare and light household duties
