Moodle Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Moodle Developer who can manage Moodle platform administration and develop custom plugins/modules to enhance our LMS functionality. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and LMS workflows, with experience in customizing Moodle for academic or corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Moodle LMS setup, configuration, and ongoing administration
• Develop and customize Moodle plugins/modules and themes
• Manage course creation, enrollment workflows, and user permissions
• Integrate third-party tools (Zoom, payment gateways, SSO, etc.)
• Monitor system performance, backups, maintenance, and security updates
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve overall system usability
• Generate Moodle reports and optimize learning content structure

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Moodle administration and development
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with Moodle APIs and web services
• Understanding of LMS UI/UX and course content formats (SCORM, H5P, etc.)
• Knowledge of Linux hosting and server management is a plus
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with custom theme development
• Knowledge of AWS or cloud deployment
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
