Morning Daycare opening teacher

Looking for a moning opener from 6 to 10 am. Possible more work hours later on

Can start work when you pass a state background check with fingerprints.

1. Work with assigned group of children applying best practices.

2. Facilitate and nurture the development of each child’s self-esteem, trust, and growing autonomy.

3. Respond quickly to children’s different and personal needs (verbal and non-verbal cues), temperament styles, abilities, and cultures.

4. Document daily individual needs, strengths, interests, service plans, attendance, and meal counts for each child.

5. Plan and implement lesson plan activities and experiences that are developmentally appropriate.

6. Prepare the learning environment for children to learn through active exploration and interaction with adult caregivers.

7. Be willing to be background checked, cost 70 dollars depending on current rate fees. Be willing to obtain a cpr, first aid, food handlers permit, and do at least 20 hours of training yearly. The facility normally pays for the additional certificates when needed. A background has to be passed before actual work can begin. The other certifications can be obtained after work has started.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
