Morning News Reporter

WBFF/WNUV is looking for an experienced reporter for our weekend morning show. You must be an excellent story teller! If you are a morning person with a great personality and strong storytelling skills then this is a great opportunity for you! We want someone who has the energy and creativity to do compelling live shots. This person will general assignment report three days during the week.

Job Skills and Experience:

• Must be a strong writer
• Sharp wit
• The ability to work well with others.
• A self-starter who can generate his or her own story ideas on a daily basis
• Able to demonstrate enterprise reporting and creativity in storytelling
• Exemplary communication skills

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous reporting experience is required
• Considerable live shot experience is required
• Previous experience working in a team environment is a must
• Experience as a TV News reporter at a network-affiliated TV station newsroom is required for consideration

The hourly compensation range for this role is $29.14 to $36.42. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
