Morning Toddler Teacher

Texas Love and Care is growing! We are seeking a creative, fun Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young children. We are currently hiring for the Morning Shift. This position is Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful space for all students.
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs or disabilities.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
• Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Experience

• Proven experience working with toddler-aged children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior.
• Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus.
• Skills in toddler care, babysitting, or related fields are beneficial.
• Certification in First Aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
