Responsibilities

• Assist clients in loan origination by evaluating their financial situations and recommending suitable mortgage options
• Guide clients through the loan processing cycle, including application submission, document collection, and approval procedures
• Maintain thorough knowledge of loan products, TILA (Truth in Lending Act) disclosures, and contractual obligations to ensure transparency and compliance
• Use financial software to analyze client data, prepare loan estimates, and track application progress efficiently
• Communicate clearly with lenders, underwriters, and clients to facilitate smooth transaction flow from initial inquiry to closing
• Conduct basic math calculations to determine affordability, interest rates, and repayment terms accurately
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to provide compliant and ethical mortgage brokerage services

Requirements

• Proven experience in loan origination or as a loan officer within the financial services sector
• Strong understanding of loan processing procedures and industry regulations such as TILA and contract law
• Proficiency with financial software platforms used for mortgage processing and client management
• Excellent math skills with the ability to perform 10 key typing tasks swiftly and accurately for data entry and calculations
• Demonstrated experience in handling contracts, disclosures, and legal documentation related to mortgage lending
• Exceptional communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients of diverse backgrounds
• Basic knowledge of loan products, interest calculations, and credit analysis techniques

Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
