Job Description:

Are you a creative visionary with a passion for bringing stories to life through stunning visual? We are a creative marketing agency where we do Branding, Digital Marketing and d2c Websites. We are seeking a motion graphic designer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, who possesses aesthetic skills and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across various industries, including fashion, food & beverage, and D2C e-commerce.

Role Summary

  • Create high-retention motion graphics and edits for Instagram Reels across multiple client brands.
  • Turn founder-led/talking-head content into shareable, story-driven reels with strong hooks and pacing.

What You’ll Do

  • Build  scroll-stopping hooks  in the first 1–3 seconds using  visuals / text / typography / sound design .
  • Edit  founder-led content  into a clear storyline with strong beats, pattern breaks, and audience retention.
  • Create  original concepts  for motion graphic reels (not templates-only) aligned with each client’s brand + audience.
  • Produce end-to-end reels:  cutting, pacing, color grade, captions, sound sync , and finishing for trend-led formats.
  • Design motion elements in  After Effects  (kinetic typography, transitions, UI overlays, dynamic layouts, lower-thirds).
  • Sync edits to  current Instagram trends  (audio, pacing, styles) while keeping brand identity consistent.
  • Deliver multiple versions (A/B hooks, alt captions, durations) to improve retention and engagement.
  • Collaborate with strategists/designers; take feedback fast and iterate quickly.

Must-Have Skills

  • 2+ years  experience in motion graphics + short-form video editing (Reels/YouTube Shorts preferred).
  • Strong command of  Adobe After Effects + Premiere Pro  (keyframes, expressions basics a plus).
  • Solid understanding of  storytelling, pacing, and retention editing  for social.
  • Strong  typography sense  and ability to design clean, modern on-screen text layouts.
  • Ability to  color-grade , balance skin tones, and create a consistent look per brand.
  • Strong  sound design  instincts: beat cuts, whooshes, impacts, ambience, clean audio.
  • Organized workflow: file management, versioning, exports in correct IG formats.

Good-to-Have (Plus)

  • Can  shoot video  and understands  camera angles, framing, lighting , and on-set storytelling.
  • Familiar with basic  cinematography  and how to plan shots for reels.
  • Understanding of Instagram metrics (watch time, retention, saves/shares) and how editing impacts them.

What Success Looks Like

  • Reels with  strong hooks , clean motion, trend-aware edits, and  high audience retention .
  • Consistent delivery across different clients with distinct brand styles.
  • Content that drives  views, engagement, shares, and saves .

Application Requirements

  • Portfolio/showreel with  motion graphic reels + founder-led edits  (before/after is a bonus)
