Motion Graphics Designer

Responsibilities

  • Create and animate branded motion assets including logos, typography, icons, transitions, and visual systems for videos, social media, product demos, and digital platforms.
  • Produce high-quality 2D animations that enhance and reinforce the brand’s visual language.
  • Bring static designs and illustrations to life with smooth, engaging animation for multi-channel use.
  • Collaborate with Executive Creative Directors, designers, marketers, and brand partners to maintain consistency and alignment across all motion deliverables.
  • Participate in concepting and creative brainstorming for campaigns, videos, and brand storytelling.
  • Support editorial workflows with basic video editing, sequencing, and sound syncing when needed.
  • Define and uphold a consistent motion style that supports established brand guidelines.
  • Export and optimize animations for web, mobile, and social platforms in production-ready formats.
  • Deliver final animation files and organized working assets for development, publishing, and internal teams.
  • Help build scalable animation templates, toolkits, and systems for broader team use.
  • Keep up to date with motion design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve output.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of professional motion design or animation experience in an agency or in-house brand environment.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to design branded decks and incorporate motion elements effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience creating branded animations including logo motion, typographic treatments, and UI-style transitions.
  • Proven ability to deliver polished 2D motion content for digital platforms such as web, mobile, social, and video.
  • Strong understanding of brand systems and how to apply them consistently across motion assets.
  • Comfortable receiving creative feedback and translating direction into high-quality work.
  • Experienced collaborator who works well with design, marketing, brand, and content partners.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-focused with high standards for visual quality and craft.
